Associate Pastor Jamie J. Woody​

Associate Pastor Jamie J. Woody accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 8, while attending Abyssinian Capernaum Baptist Church in Homewood, PA, under the leadership of Pastor James C. Loncrier. Associate Pastor Woody became a Junior Deacon at the age of 16, while attending Beulah Baptist Church in Indiana, PA. He was later ordained at the age of 19, under the leadership of his father Pastor Homer Woody, Jr.

Associate Pastor Woody announced his calling to preach in January 2010 and became a licensed minister in August of 2011, under the leadership of Bishop Carl E. Jones, Sr. at Greater Parkview Church. In April 2015, he was ordained by Bishop Jones as an Associate Pastor.

Associate Pastor Woody earned his B.A. Degree in Human Resources from Indiana University of PA and is currently seeking to pursue his Masters in Divinity. His wife, Natasha is his partner in ministry. They have three children, Jameer, Jaleel and Nikayla.

Associate Pastor Christine vincent

Associate Pastor Christine Graves Vincent was raised in Jeannette, PA. She is a graduate of Jeannette High School. She is also a graduate of the Calvary Theological Training Center, where she earned an Associate Degree in Theology.

Associate Pastor Vincent, former member of Zion Hill Baptist Church of Jeannette was licensed by Rev. Craig Giles, Pastor of Triumph Baptist Church. In April 2015 she was ordained by Bishop Carl E. Jones, Sr., Pastor of Greater Parkview Church.

Church is her college, Heaven is her university, Jesus is her principal, the Holy Spirit is her teacher, Angels are her class mates, the Bible is her study book, trials and temptations are her exams, winning souls is her assignment, prayer is her attendance, the crown of life is her degree and praise and worship is her motto. She believes there is room for all to enroll today. Tuition is free! 

Associate Pastor Ruth tolbert

Associate Pastor Ruth Tolbert transferred her church membership, of over 50 years, from St. Stephen’s African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church in Latrobe, PA to Greater Parkview Church (GPC), in 2011. While at St. Stephen’s A.M.E. Church, a connectional church, her title was “Licentiate,” which meant she had entered the ministry and was licensed to preach by the Pittsburgh District A.M.E. Conference Presiding Elder.

At Greater Parkview Church, Associate Pastor Tolbert was licensed to preach in 2014 by Bishop Carl E. Jones, Sr. and was ordained on March 7, 2020. Associate Pastor Tolbert serves as Bishop’s Assistant; serves on GPC Leadership Team; directs the GPC Youth Choir and participates in the GPC Praise Team/Choir. AP Tolbert also assists with the GPC Clothes Closet.

AP Tolbert attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota. She graduated from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA with a B.A. in Management – Human Resources. She also began her Master’s Degree in Management at Seton Hill University.

One of AP Tolbert's favorite Bible verses is Philippians 3:13-14 “…but this one thing I do…I press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Minister Ray A. Francis, Sr.

Minister Ray A. Francis, Sr. is a husband, father, educator, and author who has spent years challenging young men and women to reach their fullest potential academically and athletically. His passion for obtaining and sharing knowledge has been evident his entire life. He continues share both his passion for learning and for serving the Lord Jesus and seeks to encourage others to pursue both as well. Minister Francis was ordained as a deacon in 2004 at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, LA under the leadership of Pastor Allen R. Randle, Sr. He and his family joined GPC in September 2015 and he began serving as a deacon here. Ray announced his call to the ministry in December of 2020. Minister Francis earned a BS in Mathematics from the Tulane University of New Orleans, LA and a Masters of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. He will begin to pursue his graduate degree in ministry this summer. His book, ArmorUp: Putting on the Full Armor of God was published in June 2020. Minister Ray is married to the lovely Pamelyn and they have six children.

Minister Jared Thompson

Minister Jared Thompson, a resident of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. As a youth and teen, he was actively involved in school and community actives that included football, basketball, wresting, track & field, the marching band, Boy Scouts, and the NAACP Youth Council. Jared was a young entrepreneur with a newspaper career, winning several carriers of the year awards in his age group. Because of his hard work and drive to succeed, he was able to buy his first car at age sixteen.

Upon his graduation from high school, Jared embarked on his dream of becoming a chef. Unlike most attending culinary school, Jared began his career as a dishwasher at JCorks Restaurant, Greensburg, PA. The mentorship and training he received there and now at Moreland’s WaterFront, he is well on his way to accomplishing his dream of being an executive chef. In the spirit of entrepreneurship, he also has his own cheesecake business.

As a child, Jared knew God had a calling on his life. Like some, he denied that calling and the plans God had for him. After experiencing what the world had to offer, Jared a member of Greater Parkview Church for the past 10 years chose to give his life back to Christ and got re-baptized February 26, 2018. He currently serves as a drummer in the GPC music ministry. He accepted his call into the ministry on April 7th, 2019 and has been on fire for The Lord ever since. He is also currently one of the youth leaders in the GPC youth/college ministry and additionally he is involved with Joshua’s Men's Ministry. He desires is to be the man God has purpose him to be and to spread God’s Holy Word.
